Specialising in the processing and development of Amazonian products, notably wassay and cocoa, Novamazone can work from A to Z, from the design of the agri-food project, feasibility studies, workshop design and manufacturing process to the sourcing plan and the research & development aspect. We work in line with the various stakeholders (administration, funders, other companies in the sector, consumers), while taking administrative and regulatory constraints into account.

Sourcing plan
A solid sourcing plan makes it possible to offer customers a reliable product throughout the year. It involves contracts with local raw material producers and with the companies that handle the packaging, distribution and marketing of your product. With its knowledge of local players, NovAmazone supports you in defining a clear and secure sourcing plan at every link in your products’ value chain.
Manufacturing process
NovAmazone’s expertise will allow you to refine your production process so as to offer a product that meets consumer expectations and complies with the agri-food standards in force. Juice pulp, dehydrated fruit and spices, oils, sorbet, cocoa butter, chocolate. We have been developing our thinking for several years and can be particularly responsive on the processing of Amazonian fruit (cocoa, wassay, comou), tubers (cassava, dasheen, sweet potato, turmeric), spices (chilli, pepper), and aromatic and medicinal plants (Atoumo, lemongrass, cinnamon).
Processing workshop design
We rely on a network of experts and suppliers, allowing us to support you in drawing up the specification corresponding to your needs, designing the plans, finding technical solutions and traditional or innovative processes, supervising the works and supporting the launch of your activities, including guidance towards training bodies qualified in food hygiene and process control, at both craft and industrial scale.
Experimental protocol
Novamazone supports you in setting up experimental agronomic and agroecological protocols within your farm. These protocols make it possible to scientifically validate the impact of innovative cropping routes. We help you plan the protocol, carry out measurements, observations and sampling, and produce a study or research report. If needed, we also support you in communicating about the experiment to institutions, the general public or research bodies.
Research and development
In agroecology and agroforestry, as in any innovative process, research and development not only improves the quality and profitability of your product, but also helps establish partnerships with funders and research institutes that can support you technically and materially. NovAmazone supports you in the design and implementation of research protocols, and in the publication and dissemination of study reports.

The founder’s vision
Today’s and tomorrow’s agriculture is agriculture with a positive impact, both for the people who practise it and for the environment it is part of. My experience has convinced me that one of the keys to achieving this lies in an innovative private sector taking up the principles of agroecology. That conviction led me to found NovAmazone in 2016, to bring my expertise to the development of sustainable and profitable agricultural and agri-food projects. Today NovAmazone offers tailored support to investors, companies, public bodies and local authorities in their projects to create or transition towards sustainable, profitable and above all resilient systems of land-use planning, production or processing.
