Create, transform and optimise your farm to boost yields while preserving resources, through cropping routes drawn from agroecology. It promotes productivity that increases over the long term thanks to plant associations and a reasoned use of resources. Our agronomist experts are here to support you, from the design to the delivery of your project and of innovative experimental protocols. Bring your farming work to life and make it sustainably profitable!

- Business development plan: are you setting up or deeply transforming your farm? Novamazone supports you in measuring your business’s profitability and drawing up a business plan
- Technical training: train yourself and your teams in the principles of agroecology and sustainable agronomy
- Water and soil analysis: get to know precisely the resources and potential of your farm, and identify with our help the most suitable zoning and cropping routes
- Irrigation and fertilisation management: how can you optimise the use of water on your farm and improve soil fertility while limiting the use of chemical inputs?
- Bio-resource development: on an agroecological farm, nothing is lost, everything is transformed. Optimise your crops so that they help and complement each other, and reduce the use of inputs.
- Experimental protocol: test the productivity of experimental plots, validate and share your results with the whole profession
Environmental diagnosis
Novamazone carries out an environmental diagnosis of your farm for you, using targeted measurements, sampling and observations. Following this diagnosis, we propose strategies to improve your cropping routes and the zoning of the farm in order to optimise its productivity while generating positive effects for living things.
Business development plan
The PDE is essential to the development and growth of your business: it is used to assess the present and future performance of your farm, to convince partner organisations to provide you with support, and to seek funding and grants. A good PDE is clear, comprehensive and convincing. We support you in preparing it and in presenting it to the public and private partners identified.
Technical training
Crop associations, farm zoning, choice of tree species, biomass recovery: agroecological cropping routes are precise, and that is what makes them effective. We offer technical training for both informed and non-specialist audiences. It is an essential step in transforming your farm business towards greater sustainability.
Water and soil analysis
The location and nature of the watercourses and soils on your land can be limiting or favourable factors for agroecological cropping methods. Novamazone offers you an analysis of the water resources and soil fertility on your farm in order to propose suitable cropping routes. This analysis is part of the complete diagnostic study of your project.

Irrigation and fertilisation management
What are your current irrigation water and fertiliser needs and uses, whether natural or chemical? What will your needs be in the future once your project is completed? We support you in putting in place strategies for change to rationalise the use of water resources on your farm for reasoned irrigation, to reduce the use of external fertilisers and to promote fertilisation through the use of the biomass present on your land.
Bio-resource development
Developing bio-resources means producing, mobilising and making use of resources, notably fertilisers, to create value on your farm or forest holding and/or to increase the productivity of other species. For example, in the French Guiana context, letting bois-canon (Cecropia sp.) grow in a banana plantation is useful for supplying phosphorus and phosphate to the banana plants, which return it once the bois-canon has been cut and placed at the foot of the fruit trees. Sweet pea species belong to the legume family, which includes many species native to the Amazon environment; they fix nitrogen from the air and return it to crops through the soil’s mycorrhizal network, thereby benefiting the surrounding productive species. This cooperation between plants keeps the use of plant protection products and fertilisers to a minimum. Local species can also serve as farm hedges, buffer strips or riparian forests to protect the different areas of your farm.
Experimental protocol
Novamazone supports you in setting up experimental agronomic and agroecological protocols within your farm. These protocols make it possible to scientifically validate the impact of innovative cropping routes. We help you plan the protocol, carry out measurements, observations and sampling, and produce a study or research report. If needed, we also support you in communicating about the experiment to institutions, the general public or research bodies.
The founder’s vision
Today’s and tomorrow’s agriculture is agriculture with a positive impact, both for the people who practise it and for the environment it is part of. My experience has convinced me that one of the keys to achieving this lies in an innovative private sector taking up the principles of agroecology. That conviction led me to found NovAmazone in 2016, to bring my expertise to the development of sustainable and profitable agricultural and agri-food projects. Today NovAmazone offers tailored support to investors, companies, public bodies and local authorities in their projects to create or transition towards sustainable, profitable and above all resilient systems of land-use planning, production or processing.
